Should we start decorating for the holiday? I'd like to! Anyone want to go shopping?
Also, sorry I didn't mention this earlier but I was thinking we could have live music (in addition to the wireless!) at our NYE party, and I asked Wendy Robins if her band would be interested in playing. I figured that since she is so young she will hopefully not have other plans yet and also not charge me a fortune. Don't worry, I don't mind paying. I'm auditioning her on Thursday at 7:30 pm if anyone would be interested in accompanying me to Hogwarts. Let me know asap because I'll have to get permission for all of us!

To all my friends who received a text from me last night, I just want to say that yes, I had fun at my party. One of the attendees is an assistant (protege of?) to Lenny Shutter, and she was quite eager to take photographs of all of us in our costumes. Fortunately, she did this early on in the evening when I looked most presentable.
